Boundaries

You need to set boundaries.

Perhaps you have a hard time saying “no.” Maybe you are overcommitted. There may be a bad habit or addiction that you are struggling with. Or a relationship you need to leave. Temptations may be knocking at your door.

In the Old Testament, we read about a king named Hezekiah. As king, his job was to protect his people. Toward that end, they erected huge walls around the city, to keep the enemy out. Hezekiah “strengthened his defenses by repairing all the broken sections of the wall, erecting towers, and constructing a second wall outside the first” (2 Chronicles 32:5).
